The Friends is primarily a volunteer organization. We have many different volunteer opportunities: book sales, Friends Store, and membership outreach.
Advocate
Promote your Library
Advocates promote the library through initiatives, specifically funding issues. In November 2012, Multnomah County residents will vote on a proposed Multnomah County Library District. If it passes, the Multnomah County Library system will have dedicated and stable funding and will not need any additional levy elections.
