Welcome to the Friends of the
Multnomah County Library
As Friends of the Library we promote and support the library programs and staff through grants and advocacy. Annual book sales in Portland and Gresham, and the Friends’ Library Store provide us the opportunity to engage in activities, which make the library a stronger presence in our community. The Friends of the Multnomah County Library have been an active membership organization in the Portland area since 1972.

Book Donations Are Down!
Can you help?
The Friends collect books all year to sell at our used book sales in April and October and at the Friends' Library Store. Please consider donating your used books, CDs and DVDs to support our great library service. You can take up to two boxes of good books to any Multnomah County library branch per visit, or make arrangements for a larger donation.
