About the Group
If you’re interested in what’s going on inside your head or in the connection between mind, brain and body or even where your “self” resides, you might want to consider joining the BRAINet Book Club. Since October, 2009 a small but passionate group of readers has met monthly to discuss books relating to brain health, memory, neuroplasticity, depression, glial cells, mirror neurons, phantom limbs, body maps and more.
The only requirement to join, besides your own curiosity, is membership ($25/year) in BRAINet, the friends group of the OHSU Brain Institute (OBI) whose mission is to help build community awareness, interest, and support for neuroscience research at OHSU.
