Membership Outreach Volunteers

Events

Membership outreach focuses on representing Friends of the Library at community events. Current projects include booths at area Farmer’s Markets and participation in Pageturner groups at branch libraries.

Friends Office

Assist with membership renewals:  Mail out membership renewal materials.

Data Entry:  Enter renewal information into the office computer.

Newsletter Contributor

Footnotes is the Friends newsletter designed to communicate with its members and the library users. It is published at least quarterly. Volunteer contributors write book reviews, library-related stories, or interviews with volunteers or members, among other topics. 

Technology

Work with staff to assure that technology functions of the store, office and book sales are in sync. The volunteers also contribute to maintaining and updating the Friends website.
