The popular Friends Library Store is opening a “Pop Up” store at 801 NW 23rd Avenue Saturday May 14 in the iconic space formerly home to Music Millennium. The temporary store will be open through June and possibly into July. Staffed by volunteers and FOL members, the store offers a wide selection of well priced, good quality used books, DVD’s and CD’s. Unique gift items, cards, jewelry and work by local artists are also available. And all proceeds support the library! Hours are 11 – 7 every day.

Grand Opening Saturday May 14 includes a ribbon cutting with FOL President Craig Cedros at 11 am followed by children’s activities, a Multnomah County Library Trivia Contest and local artist and author appearances throughout the day. Use of the space was generously donated to the Friends of the Library by Singer Properties. Special thanks to the Portland Business Alliance and Powells Books for providing assistance on this pop-up shop project.

Thank you for your continued support of the Multnomah County Library. We look forward to seeing you at our NW 23rd store location!
