Volunteering at the Spring Used Book Sale is a great way to help the Friends and find new books!

Friends of the Library volunteers are always having fun and working together to support our library. There are so many ways to give your time and make a difference, and here are just a few ways you can make a volunteer impact this spring:

Volunteer at the Spring Used Book Sale

Surround yourself with books and fellow book lovers as a volunteer at our Spring Used Book Sale in Gresham, April 26-28, 2013. You can give your time as a book sorter, a cashier, help out at our volunteer check in area and more. Sign up online.

Pick up Book Donations

Looking for a volunteer opportunity that has a low and flexible time commitment but a huge impact? Friends of the Library are searching for a few new Book Donation Pickup Volunteers. This opportunity requires regular access to an insured vehicle, a driver’s license, the ability to lift and carry boxes of books and – of course - a love of books. Email us today to learn more.

Become a Friends Board Member

Did you know that all of the FOL Board of Directors are volunteers? Our board helps shape FOL events, books sales, and programs as well as making vital leadership decisions. We are currently accepting applications for a few new board members, and want to hear from our members who are interested in joining our board. Do you have a passion for our library and skills in finance, accounting, communications, retail, development, or event planning? If so – Contact us to find out more.
